In this role you are a reliable multi-talent who is responsible for a diverse range of tasks. In the first place it is your duty to keep the areas of the hotel, both front and back of house spotless. Next to the cleaning you have a supporting role in various departments of the hotel. During your shift you will engage in various jobs. These jobs range from dishwashing to the distribution of linen to the various floors of the hotel. Or receive deliveries for the bar after you have attended to a guest in need of extra amenities such as a toothbrush. Apart from great communication with the different departments it is important that you are a star in managing your time to ensure the job is done at the end of the day.
Your day-today
- You will ensure that the stewarding department behind the scenes runs smoothly.
- Taking care of the dishes to make them spotless.
- You are partly responsible for keeping the area around stewarding clean, as well as the disposal of waste and packaging.
- Operating the dishwashing machines and ensuring that all hygiene standards are met.
